Store the bottle candle in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children and pets, even when not being used. It can be stored for months or even years and will still light up, right away, when needed.Can I use white spirit as fuel?
No. White spirit produces black smoke and toxic fumes. Use only lamp oil designated for indoor use.Should I change the water in the bottle?
Unless the water is contaminated, there is no need to change the water inside the bottle.How long does a litre of lamp oil last?

If a bottle candle falls over, the motion of the fall will usually extinguish the flame immediately. If the wick becomes wet with water, shake off excess water and allow it to dry completely before lighting. A wet wick may not burn properly until fully dry.What should I use to pour lamp oil?
For a precise easy pour use a small plastic spouted medicine cup or similar type vessel.
